Transport Supervisor / Transport Planner – Waste Management & Recycling My client now has an excellent opportunity for a skilled CPC Qualified Transport Planner to join their team within the Waste Management and Construction Recycling industry. This is a critical role within the business. The company offers great promotion potential for this role moving into Transport operations, which will require you to have the CPC transport manager qualification. SALARY:
£35k – £40k plus pension (promotion and increase in salary available) Hours:
47.5 hours per week REGION:
You will be considered from the following areas: Nantwich, Haughton and the surrounding area. You will have experience in a Transport, Waste Management, Recycling, Aggregates, Tippers, Muckaway, Skip Hire, Plant Hire, Demolition, Building Supplies, Construction, Haulage, Distribution, Logistics, Traffic, Bulk Drop – Offs, Bulk Carrier, Dispatch or similar environment. You may have held positions such as Transport Supervisor, Traffic Controller, Depot Team Leader, Transport Planner, Logistics Controller, Traffic Coordinator, or Dispatcher. ROLE:
Transport Supervisor / Traffic Controller – Waste Management & Recycling Your responsibilities will include taking orders from incoming calls, planning routes, and performing general transport duties. You will provide work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers, including briefing and debriefing during the working day. Excellent planning skills and a good working knowledge of the surrounding areas are essential. Good communication and organization skills are a must for this position.
