We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join a successful engineering business near Harrogate!
You will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology-focused projects. We are seeking a candidate with at least 12 months of experience in a project-focused role, strong commercial acumen and the desire to work in technology.
In this role, you will support the operations manager on several long-term and complex engineering projects.
The appointed individual will be given the opportunity to attain PRINCE 2 or APM accreditation!
Your Role & Responsibilities:
– Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
– Coordinate project activities and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
– Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
– Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
– Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities and support in preparing commercial proposals.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management or STEM subject.
– Minimum of 12 months of experience in a project-focused role.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Commercial awareness and the ability to identify business opportunities.
