About Us:
Ruislip Vets for Pets has proudly served the local community for 10 years, offering a wide range of services, including: Anaesthesia, Biochemistry, Blood Pressure Monitoring Cruciate Surgery, Dentistry, Digital X-ray, Echocardiography Haematology and In-House Laboratory Health Plans, Hospital Ward, Isolation Unit, Microchipping, Nurse Clinics Operating Theatre, Orthopaedics, Pet Passports/Animal Health Certificates Ultrasound and X-ray facilities. Our genuinely friendly team is made up of 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and 3 Receptionists. We’re committed to providing exceptional care and support, not only to our clients but also to each other.
The Role: We are looking for a confident and motivated RVN with some experience behind them. If you are interested in clinical coaching, this would be an advantage! Our practice is busy, with operations taking place every day, and your role will be varied between Kennel Nurse, Ops Nurse, and Consult Nurse depending on your shift.
Hours of work: Full-time - 40 hours per week No OOHs 1:5 weekends Shifts are on a rota basis: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Weekend shifts are 1 in 5. After working a weekend, your following shift will be Monday to Wednesday, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, with Thursday and Friday off, giving you a great work-life balance!
What We Offer: Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE Professional Development: £500 CPD allowance Work-Life Balance: Full-time (40 hours a week), no OOHs, and 1 weekend shift in 5 Additional Leave: Extra day off for your birthday, 5.6 weeks of holiday (increasing after 2 years’ service) Professional Memberships: Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS) Discounts: 20% colleague discount at Pets at Home and The Vet Group, plus exclusive company discounts and rewards Well-being Support: Access to Colleague Assistance Programmes
