Job details - Registered Mental Health Nurse - HC618339 Grade - PO3 Contract – Permanent About the Role To provide expert clinical mental health treatment and advice. Description: To triage assess and prioritise mental health needs within the workforce, providing relevant treatments or onward referral. Support development of prevention and treatment strategies. Responsibilities will include: Providing in person/Telephone/TEAMS assessment and providing treatment and/or referral to other services. Developing long and short term strategies to reduce impact of trauma and the related mental health concerns associated including PTSD/CPTSD. Providing education and delivering inputs on mental health and trauma to the workforce. Researching and recommending treatment and therapies that are proven and best practice. Developing trauma informed inputs to staff and officers to support resilience, resourcing levels and return to work plans to enable operational delivery. Minimum Requirements: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) with Diploma/Degree in accordance with NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council). Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues. Understanding of occupational trauma (Military/Bluelight) and challenges of UK policing. Experience of online/telephone/in person clinical needs assessment.
