The Role of the Quality Assurance Manager: Provides guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out plans, standards and procedures, consistent with established policies and the General Manager’s approval. Meets with staff to ensure that operations are being executed in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and objectives. Reviews operating results of the organization, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps in a timely manner to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Create, manage and control Quality Documentation for all projects to ensure all operations are being executed in accordance with customers' specifications and standards. The Ideal Person for the Quality Assurance Manager: College degree or equivalent. Responsible for providing coaching and performance feedback. Good communication skills in group settings and in written format. Above average mathematic ability. Must have a background in Health and Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Environmental Management and Control, Cost of Quality, Vendor Management.
