Description of Job
We are a large charismatic evangelical church in North London seeking to be a new wineskin that can hold the new wine of the Kingdom. We want to become a church that makes disciples who make disciples – wholehearted followers of Jesus who are led by the Holy Spirit and who love and hold to the orthodox Word of God.
We are looking for someone coming to the end of a curacy (or who has been working for a church in a significant leadership capacity) and looking for further opportunity to grow as a leader, but also able to cope with a vicar who is a Pompey fan.
Are you a prophetic, energetic, self-starter - with an evangelistic and pastoral heart, willing to work hard and dream alongside our vicar to grow a healthy, outward-focused church to impact Barnet and beyond?
You would be joining the CCB staff team, who are a great bunch and love to have fun, alongside being fully committed to growing the Kingdom of God here in this place.
Christ Church Barnet (CCB) is a relatively large, evangelical church just inside the M25 in north London with a rich history. Our story began 178 years ago with a group of people gripped by a love for Jesus and his transforming power.
