Advert Aquatic Engineering & Construction, part of Acteon Group, is a global leader in laying and retrieving flexible and semi-rigid products from the seabed in support of the renewables, oil and gas, and telecommunications markets. The company has proven ability in shallow/deep water and extensive experience of off and onshore installations, transpooling, recovery, and decommissioning. Aquatic is looking to hire a Project Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at their facility in Aberdeen, the Project Manager will be accountable for the timely and efficient delivery of the contracted services to the client, including Safety, Quality, Personnel & Equipment provision, Maintenance, Project Delivery & Commercial. The role holder will be responsible for highlighting key risks to Management and managing these appropriately, leading all aspects of client account, including but not limited to Sales Enquiries, Mobilisations, De-mobilisations, Aged Debt, Equipment Requirements, Client Meetings, Planning & Co-Ordination, and Technical Support. Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring plans are in place and maintained to support and deliver client integrated project plans & Aquatic’s support capability. Build strong relationships with clients at all levels. Promote Aquatic’s wider capability in the resolution of client issues to add value and grow business. Responsible for achievement of budgets whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Optimise the approach required for each individual and promote trust, evidenced by performance management programme. Ownership and compliance to ensure Aquatic meets client HSE and Quality expectations. Manage the day-to-day delivery of the contract and any allocated support teams. Accountable for managing Aquatic/Client specific objectives/KPI’s to ensure actions are completed and targets met. Attend client planning meetings to ensure mobilisation readiness and gate compliance. Make and implement recommendations to clients to improve equipment/asset integrity/service delivery/equipment availability. Responsible for completion of all accounts payable invoices on a weekly/monthly basis as per business requirements. Coordinate contract incident investigations and root cause analysis. Develop and present weekly/monthly meetings. Provide first line technical support and coordinate any client requirements including breakdowns. Ensuring that NAV is used effectively and in line with processes to be able to track and report business performance. Timely checking and issuing of invoices in line with client requirements. Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and aged Debt. Develop yearly OPEX and CAPEX budgets for approval. Deal with any assigned employee issues with HR support where required. Identify any areas for development within the team, performance management and resourcing activities for team in partnership with HR. Requirements

Demonstrable experience in the management and provision of services preferably in Marine Engineering and Construction including flexibles, flowlines, risers, umbilical installations etc. Demonstrable operational experience supporting client organisations, leading teams and strong commercial awareness with excellent safety behaviours and focus on customer satisfaction. Project Management and/or business qualification. Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent technical qualification with industry experience.
