As a Business Development Manager at eGain, you will play a crucial role in continuing the growth of our DACH client base by qualifying inbound marketing leads, nurturing partner relationships, supporting marketing events, and prospecting for new potential opportunities in DACH and beyond. You will use the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure that leads handed over to our Client Directors are of high quality and have a strong potential for conversion. Duties/Responsibilities

Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads using the MEDDIC framework. Research leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position. Prepare customised presentations for introductory calls. Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly. Nurture leads with standardised content and engagement schedules via email, LinkedIn, and calls. Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM. Advocate and represent the value of the eGain solutions portfolio to a broad and diverse range of prospective technology, consulting, and integration Partnerships & Alliances. Support and build the performance of eGain partners through direct engagement in opportunities. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Align with the marketing team on campaign objectives and lead generation strategies. Provide feedback on lead quality. Collaborate with sales on lead handover. CRM Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyse trends to improve qualification processes. Market Research & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and participate in industry events, refining qualification strategies. Continuously improve lead qualification through engagement in ongoing learning about eGain’s products. Perform prospecting activities leveraging eGain tools to maintain pipeline. Leverage channels (e.g., email, LinkedIn, phone) to perform prospecting activities. Education and Experience

Fluency in German (native preferred) and solid understanding of DACH geography and business environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector. Partner relationship experience in CCaaS and/or SAP technologies. Strong understanding of the MEDDIC sales qualification framework. Excellent communication (written and presentation), analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
