My client is looking for an eager and experienced Accounts Professional to help enhance the Finance Team in their innovative business. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of the company accounts, the management and maintenance of the accounts, and the reconciliation of the nominal ledger accounts for their customers. Both benefits and a competitive salary are available for the selected candidate. Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for daily and monthly bank reconciliations including bank receipts and payments in multiple companies. Reconcile and pay customer PAYE and Pension liabilities monthly. Reconcile and process customer receipts into GEMS Workflow. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Handle weekly supplier payment runs. Liaise with other functions within the company to resolve any queries, ensuring good relationships are maintained. Handle general administration duties including email management, scanning, and answering telephone calls. Ideal Candidate: Have experience of working with accounting software. Have a clear understanding and working knowledge of journals, debits, and credits. Have excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Have a methodological approach to problem solving, with a key focus on self-ownership. Work to a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Possess a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Be self-motivated, while able to be a great team player. An additional quality that is desirable but not essential is having experience of working with a group of companies and intercompany accounts.
