Looking for someone to start ASAP.
Our client is looking for an experienced Customs Operator with export and import experience to join the team for an 8 month fixed term contract.
You’ll get a unique opportunity to be trained by the transportation department to assist them and learn new skills!
This role is Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Due to lack of transport links, please only apply if you drive.
You’ll need:
Experience with import and export customs
Good understanding of customs brokerage
An interest in expanding your knowledge within the supply chain/transportation departments
What the role includes:
Reconciliation of import and export packs for AEO Compliance
Preparation of import/export customs compliance packs
Creation of all import/export customs declarations
Reconciliation of EMCS entries
Creating documentation and booking transport with freight forwarders
Assist the transport team in all aspects of holiday and sickness cover
