Recycling Supervisor
to work within a well-established and highly reputable company in the Exeter area of Devon. This is a permanent, site-based role working full-time, 40 hours per week. Salary
is £32,760 plus additional overtime at a rate of £22.50 per hour, along with an excellent

This role of Recycling Supervisor will see you supervising and managing the day-to-day operations within the composting operation. You will also be responsible for directing staff and visitors and carrying out duties such as shredding, screening, turning, and loading compost. As a Recycling Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Operating plant and machinery, carrying out daily inspection checks, and completing damage and defect reports and other necessary paperwork. Carrying out routine servicing and minor repairs, planning and organizing maintenance across various plants and sites to maintain good working order. Completing all necessary Health, Safety, and Environmental documents in line with company policies. Ensuring a high level of customer service at all times to external and internal customers. Carrying out site inspections and safely directing and controlling waste delivery vehicles in the green waste site area. Person specification: Experience of plant operation and routine maintenance is required. Experience of supervising teams is essential, preferably across multiple sites. A strong communication style that ensures you can adapt your language for others to understand. Previous experience of composting would be beneficial. Good literacy and numeracy skills are required.
