Are you passionate about food safety, compliance, and driving excellence in the fresh produce sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to lead their commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-compliant operations.
As Compliance Manager, you will:
Oversee compliance with audit standards, product specifications, and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality systems.
Lead internal audits and manage non-conformities to ensure root causes are addressed.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the supply chain, fostering proactive solutions.
Supervise and develop a high-performing team, setting benchmarks for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage internal audit programs.
Support technical projects and act as Deputy Head of Technical when required.
Maintain strong hygiene controls across packhouse and farming operations.
Ensure accurate compliance records and clear communication of technical risks.
Present KPIs and compliance updates to leadership teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a technical role within fresh produce or fresh food.
Expertise in retail audit standards and BRCGS audits.
Formal qualifications in auditing, HACCP (Level 3), and Food Safety (Level 3).
A proactive, solution-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
Strong IT skills and a valid driving license.
