Business Intelligence Analyst Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 GBP per year At Mears Group, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst!

Our tech stack: Azure, Business Intelligence, Cloud, Support, PLC, Power BI, Python, PySpark, SQL, Security, SSIS.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous but not essential. Proven experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role is essential, preferably in a housing or property management context. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Pyspark, R). Knowledge/experience of data engineering tooling (SSIS, ADF, Synapse). Knowledge/experience of data science solutions (ML, statistical analysis). Knowledge/experience of cloud data platforms (Azure). Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative within agreed timescales. Strong visual design skills with great attention to detail. Experience working with Power BI is advantageous.

Your responsibilities are:

Collect and organize data from various sources, including databases, data lakes, surveys, and reports. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making. Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions to manage business performance. Create and present data-driven reports to support management in making informed decisions. Collaborate with other departments to gather data and insights relevant to housing maintenance operations. Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations to improve service quality and efficiency. Assist in the development of predictive models and forecasting related to maintenance needs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis. Contribute to best-practice management of central data stores and the distribution of data assets.
