Our client close to Peterborough have an opportunity for a Lead Vet with a package up to £80,000 plus bonus worth an additional £16k.
This Lead Vet Vacancy in Peterborough would suit an existing Senior/Head/Lead vet or an experienced vet looking to step in their career to take on more responsibility for a wider team and responsibilities.
This is a 4 vet, purpose-built practice with nursing and client care team in support. They are equipped to a high standard, including digital x-ray, multi-parameter ultrasound, full labs, etc. The practice has lots of parking, its own garden, and large staff facilities.
Candidates can be either medically, surgically biased, or a general all-rounder. For those looking to start certificates, our client is happy to support them. It is important that all applicants are happy to work to a sole charge level (although this isn't often required). They also need to be comfortable with routine medical and soft tissue surgeries.
As well as delivering exceptional client care, other responsibilities will include:
Team management, ensuring that everyone delivers great care and service, promoting preventative care.
Looking after the turnover and expenditure of the practice.
Ensuring the practice is up-to-date with all statutes, policies, and procedures.
Support will be offered in all areas that candidates may be unfamiliar with.
