Our client are soon to move into their brand new £1.3 million hospital premises in the East Midlands and are looking for enthusiastic and motivated vets to join them.
This wonderful team of passionate vets, nurses, support team and dedicated OOH service, all with varied interests, promote a supportive and friendly work environment. They are an active training practice, supporting nurses and vets throughout their career progression and strongly encourage further development, with opportunities to advance within the company.
Situated close to the A14, this practice is a stone’s throw from all the local bustling market town has to offer. From local shops, pubs and restaurants to the museum and train station – which offers direct links to London, Nottingham, Leicester, and Derby in under an hour – all within walking distance from this brand new, purpose-built hospital.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated first opinion vet ready to join the team and be passionate in delivering the highest quality care to their clients and patients. You will be confident in consulting, performing first opinion surgical procedures, performing diagnostic investigations, and providing dedicated inpatient care.
This is a permanent full-time role, working 4 x 10 hour days per week; however, part-time roles can also be discussed. There is a weekend rota of 1:8 Saturday or Sunday 10hr day shifts, plus 1:4 Saturday or Sunday 6 hr day shift but no routine OOH.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1 year’s UK experience and benefit from a generous salary, CPD allowance of £1,750 and 5-days (more funding is available for relevant qualifications), 5 weeks annual holiday plus bank holidays and a growing list of additional flexible benefits.
