Are you a passionate and experienced leader looking to manage a brand-new nursery in North West London? We are excited to be working with a fantastic nursery in Cricklewood (NW2) seeking a dedicated and qualified Nursery Manager to join their team. This Nursery a Brand-New Site next door to the original Nursery! About the Role: Lead and supervise a team of 12 staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum and activities for the children. Ensure the nursery adheres to all licensing regulations and health & safety standards. Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed and happy. Maintain open communication, discussing both progress and concerns regarding each child. Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections, ensuring all systems and processes are in place, and staff understand their roles and responsibilities. Create a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and maintaining supply inventory. Collaborate with other departments to guarantee a cohesive approach to childcare services. Address any disciplinary issues or conflicts that may arise. Who We Are Looking For: Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is a must. Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with fluency in English. Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team. Knowledge of nursery operations and best practices. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a demanding environment. A passion for early years education and child development. What We Offer: Competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum Opportunity to lead and manage a successful nursery team. Supportive and collaborative work environment. Person Specification: Proven track record in Nursery Management with strong leadership skills. Experience managing a nursery with at least 40 places and a minimum Ofsted “Good” rating. At least two years of recent experience in a similar setting. Living within a 30-minute commute is preferred, but not mandatory.
