Consultant in General Medicine with an interest in Acute Medicine
Triple West Medical has been assigned by a South West England based NHS Trust to help recommend a Consultant in General Medicine with an interest in Acute Medicine for a substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term position.
This post's main responsibilities will include: Overseeing the medical take Performing post-take (intra-take) ward rounds Making specialty referrals Caring for short-stay inpatients for up to 48 hours on the EAU Facilitating timely discharge and follow-up plans Following patients up as ambulatory care patients when required The post holder will also be asked to undertake roles such as: Educational supervision of students Helping with Clinical Audits & Governance Administration/Budgetary Responsibilities for the department Additional Information: 11 PA's with opportunity for additional PA's Special interests accommodated Excellent leadership opportunities for experienced Consultants GMC Specialist Registration needed along with MRCP Clinical Lead opportunities A modern Hospital Brand new ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) unit Recently developed Frailty in-reach service in ED An excellent ED Filter, all of which help to reduce pressure on Acute Medicine Benefits: Excellent Remuneration packages Excellent relocation package Rewarding Retention package Full leadership training & development support If this is of interest, please apply now and be one of the first to be considered for this role.
