Serve as a liaison between GP and consultant-led specialist teams. Requirements of the Diabetes Specialist Nurse: Must have a degree/equivalent within Nursing (RGN qualified) and an active NMC Registration (Adult) Specialist Diabetes qualification (Diploma) Experience of working with patients with complex diabetes.
