A renowned veterinary practice in Peterborough is seeking a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join their newly refurbished, state-of-the-art clinic. Nestled in picturesque surroundings, this spacious facility combines modern amenities with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The clinic boasts abundant natural light, ample on-site parking, a generously sized reception area, and a charming garden where staff can unwind and enjoy the serene environment!

In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures. The position requires an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a proven track record of providing outstanding care. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills, experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture, and proficiency in supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.

The role demands a collaborative spirit, as the new team member will work closely with a dedicated Head Nurse and Practice Manager. The successful applicant will be adept at using coaching and influencing skills to elevate team performance, ensuring that every colleague reaches their full potential. Key responsibilities include preparing tailored treatment and care plans, delivering clear patient updates to clients, and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance.

The practice values continuous improvement and expects its Veterinary Surgeon to proactively support and share clinical best practices. Mentoring and developing the team, arranging for patient care transfers when necessary, and engaging in clinical handovers are integral aspects of this role.
