Compliance Analyst, Staff in Cheswick, Pennsylvania We are looking for a

Compliance Analyst

to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

Your Responsibilities:

Works to ensure compliance with government laws and performs internal operational reviews and works under policies and procedures as necessary to ensure continued compliance. May act as liaison and interface for reviews and audits. Develops Annual Rates and Supports Audit Activities. Must have knowledge of Government Regulations including a working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) to address and resolve compliance issues, specifically related to FAR/DFAR/CAS regulations.

Serves as a contact with Government Audit Agencies and the appropriate BU ACO (Administrative Contracting Officers) to resolve finance-related compliance matters as well as finalizing Actual Incurred cost rates where applicable. Conducts, plans, and coordinates the operations activities within the company to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and ordinances. Prepares data requests for responses to various audits and government surveys.

Develops and implements compliance policies and programs in liaison with regulators. Assesses and reports to management on compliance risks, investigates incidents, and takes action to ensure compliance.

Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units to appropriately remedy them. Assesses and reports on compliance risks, investigates incidents, and takes action to ensure compliance.

Drives special projects as needed such as financial analyses related to rates, business case proposals, alternate rate scenarios, or historical trends over time.

Assists in executing evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation, as it relates to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Internal Audit, and External Audit where needed.

What you Bring:

5+ years in accounting and government compliance.

Bachelor’s Degree (Finance Preferred)

Advanced proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems

Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities

Thorough understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Knowledge of compliance requirements.

Ability to identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance issues effectively.

High level of accuracy in reviewing financial transactions, compliance reports, and documentation.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for preparing compliance reports and educating others on compliance issues.

Must be a US citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance.
