The main purpose of this job is to deliver planned and reactive plumbing, remedial, and rectification work on a wide variety of water systems. A good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems and water treatment plants is required. You will be responsible for ensuring the work is carried out safely and in accordance with the required industry standards.
Role description
Key responsibilities:
Carry out water hygiene plumbing and remedial work in line with company procedures and method statements, including:
Pressurisation units & hot water calorifier inspections, servicing & maintenance.
Cold water storage tank inspections, relining, and replacements.
Water treatment inspections, installations, servicing, and maintenance.
Closed loop & chilled system inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
Water softeners inspection, servicing, and maintenance.
General pipework alterations and plumbing remedial work.
Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with client requirements, scope, and specification.
Ensure all work records and forms (manual and electronic system based) are complete and accurate.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded, and are complete and accurate.
Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner.
Provide full support to Service Manager, as required.
Any other reasonable tasks as required.
