We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced School Business Manager (SBM) to join our team at Hullavington CE Primary and Nursery School. The SBM is part of the Senior Leadership Team and works closely with the Headteacher and other senior colleagues to strategically lead and manage the school. The SBM oversees many areas including finance, HR, procurement, Health and Safety, Premises and GDPR. The position is for 30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks). There is some flexibility in how these hours are allocated across the week. The successful candidate will be: Positive and solutions focused Well organised and have highly proficient financial and administrative skills Strong communicative skills with an attention to detail. Professional, dedicated and hard working Ensuring the most effective use of resources to support the aims of the school Ability to work to tight deadlines and towards targets Enthusiastic and forward looking with a sense of humour. Teamwork is highly valued as is the ability to quickly establish good relationships with all stakeholders. Previous experience in a school setting and/or an accounting or SBM qualification would be an advantage. Hullavington CE Primary School is a happy and successful school based in a lovely part of N.W. Wiltshire, close to junction 17 on the M4. Our school serves the local village and a nearby military base.
