About the Role: Howard Finley Care are seeking an experienced and proactive Home Manager to lead a small, friendly Learning Disability home with a Good CQC rating. With support from external payroll and HR teams, you'll have the tools you need to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centered care in a stable and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. Manage and mentor a dedicated team to meet the needs of each resident while promoting independence and choice. Build strong working relationships with the Essex/Colchester Local Authority, CQC inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and maintain their Good CQC rating. Drive performance and occupancy rates, with additional bonus opportunities tied to successful outcomes. Maintain and improve operational standards, including care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding.

Requirements: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management

(or equivalent) - essential. Previous experience managing a Learning Disability home preferred, or a strong management background with a willingness to transition into this field. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and proven experience liaising with Essex/Colchester Local Authority and CQC inspectors. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer: Competitive salary of

£40,000 - £45,000
