Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and ensure inclusive access to the curriculum. Implement and monitor EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) to track student progress. Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide well-rounded support. Deliver targeted interventions to help students overcome learning barriers. Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive learning practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. A relevant qualification in education or SEN (e.g., Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, PGCE, or similar). Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations. What We Offer:
