3600 Job Purpose: We are seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst to join our Marketing team who will report directly to the Marketing Director. In this role, you will play a critical role in helping LE collate and synthesize internal, market, and competitive information as well as customer insights to inform strategic decisions. Business Overview: Lucy Electric is an international leader in intelligent secondary power distribution products and solutions, with features such as remote operation and monitoring. Linking energy generation to consumption, the business specializes in high-performance medium and low-voltage switchgear for utility, industrial, and commercial applications. Job Dimensions: As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will work closely with the Future Networks team and globally dispersed regional Marketing and Sales Teams. The role will be based in our Regional Headquarters office in Thame (UK) and might require travel. Key Accountabilities: Market Research and Analysis

Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Gather internal industry intelligence and synthesize it. Analyze market data to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for growth. Identify key market indicators, track them, and communicate to key stakeholders.

Competitor Analysis

Monitor and analyze competitor strategies, product, and market positioning. Create detailed reports on competitor SWOT. Provide insights into competitive dynamics and potential impacts on the organization.

Customer Insights

Conduct surveys and interviews to gather direct customer feedback. Segment customers into different key target groups and design strategies accordingly.

Data Interpretation and Reporting

Synthesize complex data into clear actionable insights and recommendations. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management. Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, often in collaboration with other departments.

Monitor Industry Trends

Keep informed about industry developments, including technological advancements, regulatory changes, and economic factors. Evaluate the impact on the organization and its markets. Establish benchmarks against key competitors and monitor performance relative to these benchmarks. Use benchmarking data to recommend areas of improvement or investment.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of strategies with market conditions. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively across the organization.

Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 2-5 years of proven experience in market research, business analysis, preferably in a multinational or regional company. Key Experiences: Experience in the Utilities Industry and proven track record in conducting market analysis and providing strategic insights. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly. Knowledge of market research methodologies and techniques. Ability to work collaboratively across different departments with senior management. Does this sound interesting?
