The Financial Investors Indirect Tax team is expanding and seeking high-calibre individuals at the Associate Director level. This team, known for its proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, advises on VAT for financial investor clients, including high-value private equity and real estate transactions in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead VAT input on major transaction support engagements.
Provide end-to-end VAT advice for clients and their investee businesses.
Advise on VAT recovery positions, fund structures, and compliance issues.
Review contracts and advise on UK VAT issues.
Manage client engagements and develop team members.
Deepen client relationships and contribute to winning new work.
Develop new market opportunities and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
Shape the team culture and ensure it remains a great place to work.
Ideal Candidate:
Relevant experience in practice, industry, or with HMRC.
Excellent client-facing, relationship-building, and business development skills.
Proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities and lead project teams.
