Qualified Nursery Assistant – London & Surrounding areas

Department: Early Years Pay: From £12ph to £16ph Area: London and surrounding areas Hours: Flexible (Times could include the following shift hours: (10am-2pm 11am-3pm, 8am-1pm, 1pm-6pm, 3pm-6pm, 8am-6pm) Depending on the client’s needs. We are looking for both temporary and permanent staff who are fully motivated to support our team and deliver a high standard of care for our children. This is a very good opportunity for Nursey nurses / practitioners with a NNEB or NVQ’s of a Level 2/3 standard to get involved and help to make our nurseries operate smoother, ideally you must be someone who is hardworking, has a positive mentality and is flexible.

Successful candidates will be working on a rota between the hours of 8am to 6pm, primarily we are looking for flexible candidates who enjoy working in early years education an have a passion for supporting and providing assistance to nurseries.

Both written and verbal skills are desirable so the ability to have great communication skills are key for this role, also experience in keeping records of the children’s development would be appreciated. You should be physically fit enough for the role and able to motivate and do designated tasks given by the senior team for the children’s needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and implement daily activities that are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Assess children’s progress and development and record their findings. Communicate with parents and carers about their child’s progress. Maintain a safe and secure environment for children. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education. Attend training and development opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge Qualifications: Level 2/3 CACHE or NVQ in Childcare or equivalent Experience of working with children in an early year setting Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
