Full time
Location: East Retford
·
Job offered by: Bright Leaf Recruitment

Up to £65,000 DOE, up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance

Our client has two practices in the heart of Retford and Goole. They are now looking for a passionate and enthusiastic vet to join them.

The practice has recently undergone a breath-taking transformation, expanding their small animal services, and setting the stage for even greater achievements. The practices boast cutting-edge facilities, including a digital X-ray system, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and a full internal lab. Across both sites, the team currently consists of 16 vets, 11 nurses and 12 support staff. They're not just colleagues; they’re a family of passionate and friendly individuals who live and breathe veterinary care. Delivering first-class service to clients and their beloved pets is their top priority. To ensure your well-being, there is a dedicated mental health first aider on hand. They know how to have a blast outside of work too. From lively pub quizzes to a legendary annual summer BBQ and even participating in adrenaline-pumping events like Tough Mudder, they know how to create unforgettable memories.

As a part of this dynamic team, you'll be responsible for hands-on care of small animals, providing both routine and emergency healthcare in two of their sites. The main site in Retford has state of the art equipment and their practice in Goole has been newly refurbished.

Are you an exceptional Veterinary Surgeon with a hunger for adventure? Bring your post-graduate experience, decision-making skills, and compassionate nature to this existing team. There is an experienced team who will always be by your side, supporting you every step of the way. Get ready to break free from the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary.

This is a full-time position covering two practices and working days are Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings but there are no out-of-hours or on-call duty. Your role will encompass a range of exciting responsibilities, from consultations and routine surgeries to client liaison and managing treatment plans.
