Key Responsibilities:
Support our Genetic Consultants by informing customers about supply chain options and genetics that are available.
Manage and lead on a variety of open days and farm visits.
Work closely with the Beef Programme Manager and the technical development team on a variety of Beef related projects.
Coordinate and promote the Cogent Beef on dairy programme with key external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain current knowledge on the industry and market trends for Beef on dairy requirements.
Provide technical breeding information for literature, websites and monthly product communications around the selected supply chain.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create strategies to promote the supply chain.
Responsible for the growth and development of beef supply chain.
Report on monthly sales to partners.
Attend shows and events and actively engage with potential partnering farms.
Complete any other duties as required from time to time.
Essential Skills:
Knowledge of the Beef and dairy Industry.
Current Driving Licence.
Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Maintain an excellent standard of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ambitious with eagerness to develop.
Self-leadership by taking responsibility, being positive and tackling challenges with enthusiasm.
Additional Information:
Expected to travel extensively throughout the UK; full UK driving license is essential.
