We’ve come a long way; join us to play a key role in the next step of our incredible journey! What are we looking for We have an opportunity for a Production Operative to join the team. You will be involved with the manufacture of ITM Power’s patented membrane assembly, as well as general laboratory duties, working in a production and laboratory environment, both independently and as part of a team. The shift pattern is weekly rotating – 0600-1400 and 14.00-22.00. Responsibilities Operating and maintaining semi-automated laboratory equipment or processes as required Manufacturing catalyst inks Adhering to workplace H&S procedures Ensuring required documentation is completed and maintained Performing quality assurance and testing checks Maintaining cleanliness of work areas Completing machinery pre-use checks and reporting faults where necessary Working to standard procedures to maintain high quality throughput Maintaining quality standards and reporting defects Ensuring the work areas are stocked as required and general housekeeping of the laboratory areas About You Knowledge and Experience Experience of working in a production environment or having process/laboratory experience Computer literate A good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety guidelines Experience of delivering to plan right first time Experience of working to and achieving production targets Skills and Abilities Ability to assess data against a set of pre-defined parameters Good with hands-on task completion, able to see a task through from start to finish Be able to work to production deadlines Ability to highlight potential failures before they occur Strong communication skills and can effectively interact with all key stakeholders Excellent time management and organisation skills and a willingness to remain flexible Excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate good problem-solving ability Ability to raise improvement ideas What can we offer you Our competitive salary package includes an excellent contributory pension, 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a wider range of benefits including: Buy as you earn (BAYE) share scheme Birthday holiday Holiday Purchase Cycle to work scheme Lifestyle Discounts Employee Assistance Programme Health Cash Plan Eye Care Gym Scheme Life assurance EV Car Leasing Enhanced Parental Leave Motor Save Scheme Tech Save Scheme Onsite parking including free electric car charging points We know your career is important to you, it’s important to us too, which is why we also offer opportunities for you to grow and develop your career.
