Veterinary Surgeon – Flexible Role with Great Support Team

The Practice

This modern, purpose-built practice has been serving the local community for nearly 10 years and is part of a well-established veterinary network. Located within a busy pet store, the practice benefits from a loyal client base and sees a wide variety of cases across small animal species.

The facilities include:

Digital x-ray and dental x-ray

Laparoscopy

Full in-house laboratory

Separate dog, cat, and exotic wards

Fully equipped operating theatre

The team consists of 3 veterinary surgeons, 8 qualified nurses, a trainee nurse, a veterinary nursing assistant, and 4 receptionists, all supported by clinical and administrative team leaders.

The Role

You’ll work alongside experienced vets with 20+ years of expertise in both medicine and surgery, creating a supportive environment to help you grow your skills. The practice encourages professional development, offering a generous CPD allowance and funding for certificates.

The position can be tailored to suit your lifestyle with options for part-time hours or even weekends only, and there is no OOH work. The rota includes:

15-minute consults as standard

Protected lunch breaks

Built-in admin time and “catch-up” slots
