We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a Tier 1 contractor working on a major civils infrastructure project in Central London. About the role of Senior Planner:
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of all phases of this significant infrastructure project. This role is perfect for a Senior Planner with a strong background in the infrastructure sector, looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities for Senior Planner:
Developing and maintaining complex project schedules and programmes
Monitoring progress, identifying delays, and implementing mitigation strategies
Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery
Conducting site visits to assess progress and alignment with the project schedule
Preparing detailed planning reports and presenting updates to stakeholders
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the planning team
Requirements for Senior Planner:
Proven experience as a Senior Planner, ideally within the civils or infrastructure sector
Expertise in planning software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the wider project team
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to planning and scheduling
