We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Financial Accountant

to join a dynamic and fast-paced organization. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance, providing integrity and reliability of financial data. This hybrid role offers a mix of office and remote working, with an initial requirement to be in the Surrey office 3–4 days per week during onboarding, transitioning to 2–3 days per week thereafter. What You'll Do:

Prepare accurate financial statements and reports, overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes. Lead the monthly close process, delivering timely and precise financial reporting. Ensure robust financial systems, including accurate reconciliations and profit and loss analyses. Prepare and submit VAT returns and address VAT queries. Support compliance submissions and collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure smooth payroll delivery. Contribute to budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and ongoing process improvements. Work with auditors to coordinate external audits and provide necessary documentation. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all additions and disposals adhere to company policies. Stay updated on financial developments and accounting best practices to ensure compliance. About You:

A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with relevant experience in financial accounting. Proven experience in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment. Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial regulations. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. High attention to detail, even under pressure, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with NetSuite is an advantage. The ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. What We Offer:
