Job Responsibilities

A key management role responsible for the technical performance of existing solutions and ongoing management and delivery of the technology roadmap of the Reliance Protect and Reliance Technology Care Solutions solutions. Own the new product development process ensuring the delivery of innovative products that meet customer needs and align with the company strategy. Manage the technical performance and quality of our solutions (hardware, software, apps), working closely with the wider company Dev Team on internally developed software and apps. Own the technology roadmap aligning developments in technology and innovation with customer needs, market opportunities, and the strategic direction of both the Reliance Protect and Reliance Technology Care Solutions business units. Assess new products, solutions, and suppliers in line with the technology roadmap, including evaluating features, quality, security, certification, and commercial models. Project manage key stakeholders including suppliers and internal development and IT teams to introduce and integrate new features and services that add value to our solutions. Understand customer wants and needs and identify differentiators, market opportunities, and USPs against competitor solutions. Manage new product development, firmware versions, and firmware control processes including UAT processes, introduction into production through formal change control processes, liaising with all internal key stakeholders, and controlling communications to customers as required. Create technical specifications from business requirements. Ensure product certification, compliance to relevant standards, and associated technical documentation. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. 3-5 years in a technical product management role, ideally in wireless communication technologies. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills with a logical, analytical approach to problem solving. Ability to manage and conduct product functional testing, creating and managing UAT programs. Ability to become a subject matter expert and go-to person in a variety of systems and technologies. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Willingness to travel to other Reliance Offices and customer premises. Security clearances to NPPV3 and SC. Strong documentation skills. Demonstrable project management skills and experience. Full UK driving license. Experience within robust ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus environments. All job candidates will be screened to BS7858 to meet Reliance High-Tech's vetting standards.
