About the Role:
As an Optometrist with our Domiciliary Opticians, you'll enjoy clinical freedom and the opportunity to visit patients in care home environments - far from the typical retail practice. You'll be supported by an experienced dispenser, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional sight tests and patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct sight tests for patients unable to visit high street practices, adhering to our standard operating procedures. Provide guidance on eye health, eyewear options, and frame selection. Supervise and support a team of optometrists, fostering a collaborative environment. Communicate test results and recommendations to patients, care home managers, and family members. Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any issues promptly. Participate in team meetings to identify areas for improvement and receive feedback. Occasionally manage all clinic responsibilities to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain confidentiality regarding company business, employees, and patients. Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of post-qualified experience (domiciliary experience is a plus). GOC and appropriate OPL/Health board registration. Strong knowledge of NHS and professional compliance. Calm under pressure with excellent listening skills.
