We are seeking a Service Provider Specialist to join our Service & Solutions (SES) Operations Team, covering the M4 Corridor. You'll work closely with a small, dedicated team of Service Provider Specialists based across the country.
We are looking for someone like you, who will be responsible for overseeing compliance with our SES contracts and enhancing the operational performance of our Service Providers, ensuring they’re aligned with our company vision.
As a Service Provider Specialist, you'll play a vital role in keeping goods transport on the road, enhancing road safety, and supporting environmental sustainability through maximised tyre life. This unique position allows you to directly impact the profitability and success of both Michelin and our customers while driving meaningful progress for a greener future.
Key Role Insights:
As a Service Provider Specialist, you play a crucial role in safeguarding the profitability of our contracts. This position involves occasional weekend work, offering flexibility in exchange for valuable contributions. While working remotely may be solitary, you'll be part of a supportive team of Service Provider Specialists, sharing knowledge and guidance through regular team meetings and ongoing manager interaction.
So, what will you be doing?
Get ready for a hands-on role in tyre management that directly contributes to our People, Profit, and Planet ambitions! You'll be responsible for handling and inspecting truck tyre casings, assisting with vehicle inspections, conducting pressure audits, managing part-worn stock and tyre damage, training technicians and building strong relationships with Service Providers. We prioritise respect in all interactions, treating both customers and service providers with care and professionalism. You'll also play a key role in maximising the value of our products by ensuring tyres are regrooved, repaired, and kept on the road. Your IT skills will be essential for accurate data entry and billing.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. As the 'eyes on the ground,' you'll ensure Service Providers meet their commitments, requiring strong communication and conflict resolution skills. A process-driven mindset is vital for maintaining consistency across all Service Provider Specialists. In this position, you'll help us uphold our commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency. Self-motivation and effective time management are essential for success.
Essentials:
Valid UK driving license
Right to Work in the UK
Basic IT skills
Ideally you will be located in or around Reading / West London
