As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of our patients' medications. We are looking for someone who is accurate in their approach and able to provide exceptional service all around.

Are you friendly, organized, and enthusiastic about providing outstanding patient care and great service to the local community?

As a Right Medicine Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll work as part of the Pharmacy team along with Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians, and the Pharmacist to provide the Right care for our patients and customers. The role will involve assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians in the labeling, endorsing, ordering, and preparation of all types of prescriptions and medicine orders, coordinating daily and weekly prescriptions ensuring where necessary, scripts are re-ordered and all items are made up in advance ready for collection or delivery, dealing directly with patients in obtaining medical information and dispensing prescriptions along with any other duties essential to the smooth operation of the Pharmacy.

About You:

We are ideally looking for someone who has Pharmacy experience in dispensing medication via the formal pharmacy training route; however, this is not essential and applications are welcome from those looking to progress into a role within Pharmacy.

This role is one that will require a number of formal training programs that require completion both in working hours and sometimes outside of working hours.

If you are a currently trained Pharmacy Dispenser, then we have the next stage of your pharmacy journey covered via the Accredited Checking Dispenser Course. This will take you to a new level in your journey.

You should have the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced healthcare environment, be reliable, and have excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality that our patients can trust!

About Us:

Right Medicine Pharmacy operates from 42 sites across Scotland from Wick all the way down to Dumfries and many places in between and looks after over 300 team members.

Our colleagues can look forward to a welcoming and supportive culture, various incentives, and progression on your journey.
