Job overview

Supporting and assisting Clinicians in a variety of Surgical Clinics, over two areas within the hospital. This will involve different surgical specialties, including Oncology Clinics. Main duties of the job

Prepare and oversee clinics, ensuring they run efficiently. Support clinicians and anticipate their requirements. Be responsible for Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) in the clinical areas, supporting them while on duty. Ensure patients receive care to the highest standards, underpinned by the Trust's Values and Behaviors. Ensure patients are informed about any further treatments or investigations. Education and qualifications

Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Experience and knowledge

Relevant experience of looking after patients in a healthcare environment Previous NHS experience within the last 12 months Previous experience within an Acute setting Broad clinical knowledge base Skills, abilities and competencies

Ability to work as part of a team Confident and calm attitude with the ability to work under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills Good organisational and team-building skills Accurate document presentation and attention to detail Punctual and reliable Motivated and enthusiastic, shows initiative Courteous and respectful Kind and helpful Responsive communication Effective and professional The
