As a Dispensing Optician, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive an excellent service. Your duties will include dispensing spectacles, managing stock, and providing personalised consultations.
Salary is up to £30,000 per annum, 33 days annual leave, 2% commission per dispense (circa £200-£500 per month) and flexibility on weekends, with no Sundays and the option of alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
Dispense spectacles based on current prescriptions. Maintain accurate stock levels. Support the Branch Manager in monitoring branch performance. Offer personalised advice to customers regarding available stock. Adjust spectacles to meet customer needs. Follow up on reminders and keep all parties informed. Fully Qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered) with strong communication skills. Focus on providing quality service and customer satisfaction. The ability to build rapport with patients and deliver a personalised, tailored service. Compensation of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
