Job summary

This post is a 6-month full time Neonatal or Paediatric Clinical Fellow post based at Whittington Health, North Central London.

The successful applicant will join a strong clinical team in our level 2 neonatal intensive care unit/ Acute Pediatrics, participate in the Neonatal/Paediatric SHO rota and have the same educational opportunities as doctors in formal training posts. All trainees are allocated educational supervisors and are expected to work towards Level 1 (ST1-3a) RCPCH competencies.

Our paediatric department provides excellent training in general and neonatal paediatrics and has been highly rated in the GMC trainee and London School of Paediatrics surveys.

Applications are invited from those considering a career in Paediatrics and subsequent application for run-through training and would also suit obstetric, anaesthetic, or paediatric surgical trainees wishing to gain neonatal experience.

There is potential for the post to be extended to 12 months.
