Location: remote in NYC, London or Amsterdam, with likely international travel within the first few weeks of starting. As a Global Logistics Manager, you will oversee and streamline the logistics and supply chain operations within our organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders. You are a vital link in ensuring our customers receive orders precisely when they need them. You will manage global logistics across our entire fulfillment network to include the US, Europe, India and APAC. This role will report to the Head of Fulfillment and collaborate very closely with operations managers across all of our fulfillment locations. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment, understands and interprets customer needs, and is eager to join our gritty, fast-paced team to deliver unmatched service to our customers.

This role is very hands-on in terms of quickly addressing logistical challenges (i.e. customs delays, etc.) while at the same time keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

What you'll do Contract Negotiation : Negotiate contracts with transportation and logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Establish service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Shipping and Transportation Oversight : Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Resolve shipping issues, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance problems, by liaising with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Vendor and Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.

Evaluate vendor performance and address service gaps to maintain operational efficiency.

Regularly conduct business reviews with key logistic partners ensuring feedback from stakeholders throughout the organization

Process Improvement : Analyze logistics data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, consolidate shipments, and reduce lead times.

Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure all logistics operations comply with local, national, and international regulations, including customs and import/export laws.

Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks related to transportation, weather, or other disruptions.

Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and present reports on key logistics metrics, including costs, delivery times, and service levels.

Use data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.

Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, ERP).

Knowledge of regulations related to transportation and international trade.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Experience in managing cross-border shipments and dealing with customs processes.
