Mental Health Youth Worker Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people? Do you have experience supporting individuals that can find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships? In recent years there has been a massive focus on supporting the mental health of pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for the rest of the Academic Year in a range of schools in

Cheltenham

(with an option of progressing onto contract with the right school). As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will be involved in supporting pupils within the classroom and be comfortable running activities with the pupils outside the classroom. Alongside the class teacher, you will provide support to ensure the right assistance is in place for the students. This position is full-time, and full support and guidance will be provided. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training while in the role. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting pupils in school or an alternative setting, but we will also consider candidates without this experience.
