Job title: Speech and Language Therapist Location: Waterloo Lodge School – North West Hours: 15 hours per week, 2 days per week 8.30am-4.30pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE (Up to 19,178 Actual Salary) DOE Essential: Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle About the role We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the pupils we support. You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and, with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. This position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required. Our Clinical Teams help maintain a person-centered, empowering approach, always putting the people we support at the forefront of everything they do. Essential Criteria: Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams Experience of working with children, young people, and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern) Experience of working within school environments Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle What’s in it for you?
