The Role
NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit an Assistant Technical Officer - Medical Physics, based within University Hospital Monklands. The post holder is part of a Medical Physics Equipment Management Section within the comprehensive Medical Physics service to NHS Lanarkshire. These Sections are located in Monklands, Wishaw and Hairmyres Hospitals and serve both the Acute and Primary Care Divisions with a contracted service to the State Hospital, Carstairs.
Medical equipment management ensures that vital equipment connected to patients (for the purpose of diagnosis, therapy, or life support) is operating safely and effectively.

Access to a car and have a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence
It would be great if you also have
Relevant experience in a technical role connected with healthcare
Prior knowledge of patient connected devices in healthcare environment
Excellent organisation skills
