The European Tax Manager position involves overseeing tax compliance for a group of markets within the Europe region, providing advice on tax-related issues, and coordinating with external advisors and the Global Corporate Tax Department as needed. Manage direct tax reporting compliance requirements. Provide tax-related advice and coordinate with external advisers. Prepare and submit US tax reporting. Coordinate transfer pricing documentation. Prepare corporate income tax returns. Calculate and instruct corporate income tax payments. As a qualified accountant and/or chartered tax adviser with extensive experience in tax compliance, you will possess a deep understanding of accounting provisions, principles, statutory audit, and disclosure requirements in at least one European jurisdiction. Experience with indirect taxes is desirable, and fluency in English is essential. This role is based at our client's site in Chester, with 50% hybrid working. Our client is a global leader in enabling pharma, biotech, and consumer health partners to optimize product development, launch, and full life-cycle supply for patients worldwide. We are looking for an individual who can take ownership of this role and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The estimated salary for this position is £54,950 per annum, based on a 35-hour workweek (£27.55 per hour).
