The Opportunity: QA Automation Test Engineer in Front Office Technology

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and skilled technologist, eager to make their mark within the technology division of a top-tier integrated trading powerhouse. This role is tailor-made for individuals with a background in Commodities or Financial Services, offering the chance to craft full-stack solutions that cater to the intricate needs of Trading, Middle Office, and Risk management teams.

Your Role and Impact:

As a pivotal member of the Risk and Trading Technology team, you will:

Take charge of designing and implementing an advanced automated testing platform utilizing cutting-edge QA frameworks.

Lead the charge in identifying, documenting, and managing software discrepancies, ensuring seamless collaboration with the development team for timely resolutions.

Engage actively in agile methodologies, infusing QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Contribute your unique insights to enhance QA utilization across the company, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation.

Embark on a journey of professional growth by deepening your understanding of business operations and system functionalities.

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise application testing, bolstered by hands-on use of automated testing tools.

Proficiency in contemporary testing frameworks such as Cypress & Playwright, coupled with a knack for crafting clear and impactful test plans and cases.

A solid grasp of software QA principles, tools, and methodologies within an Agile framework, with a special interest in candidates with exposure to commodities and electronic trading software testing.

Exceptional communication skills in English, complemented by a strong organizational acumen, a fervent passion for technological innovation, and the resilience to thrive under pressure.

A strategic thinker with an analytical mindset, capable of navigating and resolving complex challenges.
