They are a welcoming, mixed single-site practice caring for cats, dogs, small furries, as well as farm animals and equines.
Their facilities include three consultation rooms, one theatre, and—thanks to an ongoing refurbishment—dedicated cat and dog wards.
Their practice is well-equipped with digital radiography and ultrasound, with continuous improvements being made to their clinical areas. The balance between consultations and surgeries varies weekly, and our surgical cases are predominantly routine, with some orthopedics and dental procedures.
Team : Their dedicated team comprises 7 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 2 VCAs, including colleagues with certifications in behavior, diagnostic imaging, and acupuncture. They actively support professional development and encourage team members to pursue their interests, whether through CPD or advanced qualifications.
Role : Our client is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their mixed practice in Scotland. This is a FTC for 15 months.

Currently, their vets work a rota covering 9 am-6 pm (with an unpaid lunch break) Monday - Friday and OOH on a 1:6 for weeknights and Sat/Sun.
Salary:
They are offering a competitive salary of up to £63,000 p/a - reflective of skills and experience.
