The Care Worker role is one of the most important and rewarding positions within our company. This role helps service users live in the community for as long as possible by providing the care and support required to individuals and families. As a Care Worker, you will be expected to provide a culturally and ethnically sensitive service, which is integral to the provision of home care. To fulfil this role, the perfect candidate needs to be able to cope with pressure and change. They must possess excellent communication skills along with a caring nature. Patience and a good temperament are essential for this role. The candidate should be professional, polite, attentive, and always prepared, responsive, and willing to meet each challenge directly. This position offers potential for further career development as well as interesting and satisfying professional challenges. Responsibilities:

Perform basic personal care tasks as outlined in the service user’s care plan. Provide personal care in a sensitive and culturally appropriate manner for all service users, which may include assisting service users to go to bed, total body washing in line with procedures, assisting with toileting, dressing, and feeding. Alert the Care Coordinator or Field Supervisor of any changes in the service user’s condition or circumstances. Create and maintain good communication with service users, including those who may have some degree of communication difficulties. Various shift patterns are available.
