Night Care Assistant
to work the following night shifts: Monday night Wednesday night You will be part of a dedicated team that offers the residents of our purpose-built care homes kind and compassionate care, in line with our company ethos. If you are caring by nature and enjoy looking after others, then being a Care Assistant at Augustinian Care is for you. A crucial part of the role will be implementing each resident's person-centred care plan, by recording observations such as weight, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, nutrition, and liquid intake. Above all, you will be performing any duty that is necessary to help our residents to retain their dignity, independence, and well-being.
Requirements Previous experience of undertaking personal care in either an employed or voluntary capacity. Experience of working with the elderly, or those with special needs, or be able to demonstrate relevant experience of providing personal care to such client groups. Previous experience of moving and positioning, or be prepared to attend training. All posts are subject to a clear enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references. Although it is no longer a legal requirement for staff working within CQC regulated Care Homes for Older Adult Care in England to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, in the best interests of our staff and residents, we have decided to keep it a mandatory requirement to work for our organisation. Therefore, we will need proof of your COVID Vaccination pass. You must have current valid right to work in the UK.
