37 hours per week An opportunity has arisen for the above post to work at the heart of the Council’s democratic process. As a key member of our small and friendly team, you will be organised, accurate, able to work under pressure, confident in dealing with elected members and senior officers, and possess good ICT, English language and communication skills. Tasks will include supporting the Council’s decision-making framework by leading the small team that provides administrative support to Councillors and Committees, ensuring the work of the Team is carried out efficiently and in accordance with statutory requirements and the Council’s Constitution. The role will involve giving effective advice to members, officers, and the public on the operation of democratic processes and involves attendance at evening meetings.
